All products are made out of Jute, a natural plant fiber that is:

• Biodegradable - all of our bags are made out of jute, which like any plant, naturally biodegrades
• Renewable - jute is a crop extensively grown in the wet parts of the Indian subcontinent and do not require pesticides to grow
• Handmade - our bags are manufactured in India's cottage industry. The cottage industry consists of hand made bags by small companies. Many are made by women in their homes under fair wages. We are proud to support their independence.
• Dyed with vegetable dyes - all natural vegetable based dyes are used to color our bags.
